BIR Collection for August 2012 Grew by 10.04%

BIR Collection is moving steadily

For the month of August 2012, the BIR collected Php 96.76 billion in tax revenues, Php 8.83 Billion or 10.04% more than collections made in August of 2011.  For the period January to August 2012, the BIR collected Php 701.43 Billion in tax revenues, Php 81.72 Billion or 13.19% more than collections made for the period January to August of 2011.

For August 2012, collections from BIR operations amounted to Php 94.94 Billion, Php 10.69  Billion or 12.69% more than collections made in August of 2011.  However, collections from non-BIR operations amounted to only Php 1.81 Billion, Php 1.86 Billion or 50.63% less than collections made in August of 2011.

Collections by the Regional Offices amounted to PhP 30.94 Billion, or Php 4.76 Billion or 18.2% more than the collections made in August of 2011, continuing with the trend of double digit growth being registered by the Regional Offices for this year.

Collections by the Large Taxpayer Service amounted to PhP 64 Billion, PhP 5.93 Billion or 10.2% more than collections made in August 2011.
