How can I request for a TIN Card under my married name?

This is the message sent by Kelly in my other blog birtaxinfo.i.ph. The Message Box on the blog was designed for short messages. The concern on Kelly would take quite a few lines that may not be suited for that box.

kelly: hello and good day to you sir! I have an old TIN card and it still has my last name nung dalaga pa po ako. Now i am in the process of transferring the rdo to another rdo. Ask ko lang po if i can request for a new TIN card (i understand i need to surrender the old one) to the BIR branch that will have my TIN to be registered at that RDO? Para po sana isang lakaran na lang.. thanks!

Problem on RDO Code, TIN Transfer & TIN Card

Here's the concern of Vhichky:

GOoD Morning po… RDO 057 is San Pedro o Binan? Eto pa po, dapat ba sa San Pedro din ako magpa TIN ID? makukuha ko po ba agad yun kasi from bulacan pako at may work pako. . ok lang po ba yun from 1st job ko mtransfer agad sa 3rd job ko yung RDO? as in madidisregard na yung sa RDO code nung 2nd job ko?

How do know for sure if you have a TIN or not?

How do you know for sure if you have a TIN
Taken from the movie "TANGLED"

The best thing for you to do is to call the BIR Contact center at 981-8888 or email contact_us@cctr.bir.gov.ph or call Taxpayer Information & Education Division 981-7000 local 7250 / 7251 / 7252.  They will ask your full name and your birth date.  Do ask also which RDO or BIR branch where your TIN is currently registered.  RDO stands for Revenue District Office of the BIR.  These RDOs have areas that are under their jurisdiction.  So if your TIN is registered in RDO 40 – Cubao or RDO 45 – Marikina.
