BIR Collection for September 2012 Grew by P4.49 Billion

For the month of September 2012, the BIR collected Php 71.04 billion in tax revenues, Php 4.49 Billion or 6.75% more than collections made in September of 2011.  For the period January to September 2012, the BIR collected Php 772.47 Billion in tax revenues, Php 86.21 Billion or 12.56% more than collections made for the period January to September of 2011.

For September 2012, collections from BIR operations amounted to Php 67.71 Billion, Php 4.27  Billion or 6.73% more than collections made in September  of 2011.  Collections from non-BIR operations amounted to Php 3.33 Billion, Php 0.22 Billion or 7.06% more than collections made in September of 2011.

Collections by the Regional Offices amounted to PhP 26.22 Billion, or Php 0.82 Billion or 3.22 % more than the goals set for September of 2012.  Or an increase of Php 3.84 Billion or 17.13% more than the collections made in September of 2011, continuing with the trend of double digit growth being registered by the Regional Offices for this year.

Collections by the Large Taxpayer Service amounted to PhP 41.49 Billion, PhP 4.27 Billion or 1.06% more than collections made in September of  2011.
