BIR Commissioner Kim S. Jacinto-Henares announced today thru Revenue Memorandum Circular 41-2012 that due to continuing bad weather condition, the August 10, 2012 deadline for the e-filing / filing and e-payment/ remittance thru BIR forms 1600; 1606; 1601C and 1602; 1601E and 1601F; and 2200M is hereby moved to August 13, 2012 for the following AFFECTED Revenue District Offices (RDOs), including affected Authorized Agent Banks:

The Bureau of Internal Revenue is in the midst of crucial major reforms. We are completing the evaluation of our various core processes, such as those of registration, filing and payment, auditing and collection, and have started and needs to complete the reengineering of these processes.

In line with the continuing thrust of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to improve the delivery of services and dissemination of tax information to its customers, the BIR launched the enhanced BIR Portal today at the BIR National Training Center.
