Typhoon Sendong : Report Business Losses within 45 days
December 17, Sunday the intensity of Typhoon Sendong brought the city of Cagayan de Oro, and Iligan to its knees.
Businesses affected by the recent typhoon Sendong should be reported to the Bureau of Internal revenue within 45 days after the event.
The BIR has previously issued Revenue Memorandum Order (RMO) No. 31-2009, dated October 16, 2009, which laid down the policies and guidelines for the reporting and claiming of casualty losses, in general. This was issued in aftermath of Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng. (For annexes attached to this RMO click this links for Annex A and Annex B you will be ask to open or save to download file to your PC)

Loss of Property and Life brought by Typhoon Sendong
Of all the images I've looked into on this most tragic devastation that came upon my hometown Cagayan de Oro City. I cannot help but feel the pain and utter sadness in my heart to see a father holding the lifeless body of his child in his arms.

Replacement of Lost TIN Card
First, know where your TIN is currently registered or which BIR Branch or Revenue District Office (RDO).
If you don’t know which BIR District Office you got your TIN Card. You can call the BIR Contact center at 981-8888 or email contact_us@cctr.bir.gov.ph or call Taxpayer Information & Education Division 981-7000 local 7250 / 7251 / 7252 give them your full name and your birthdate. Just ask them that you want to know where your TIN is currently registered or which BIR District Office your TIN is registered.
